An incision of 8 to 10 cm in length is applied to the area under the underwear. This incision remains above the pubic hair area. Since a V-shaped incision is usually required, a second incision is also performed. The purpose of the second cut is to transfer the belly button to where it should be. After removal of excess fat and skin, hidden stitching is performed under the skin.
