RECOVERY AFTER LIPOSUCTON
After liposuction, swelling, bruising and pain may occur in the area where the operation is performed. After liposuction, you may need to rest for a few days before returning to work. It is recommended that you wait for a few weeks to return to your daily activities, including exercise.
Dr. Etoz may prescribe antibiotics to reduce the risk of infection. In addition, after liposuction for several weeks, you may need to wear tight special corsets and clothes to help reduce swelling. In this process, there may be some contour irregularities in the areas where fat is removed, which is usually temporary.
Swellings will spontaneously decrease within 3-6 weeks. During this period, the contour will gradually come to the desired shape and reduced volume in the areas where the fat is removed.
