Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure for reshaping the nose, and when applied by a qualified surgeon, such as Dr. Etoz, it gives your nose a natural and attractive appearance.
Who is a good candidate for rhinoplasty?
- If you are not satisfied with the shape and size of your nose,
- If your nose not in proportion to the rest of your face
- If you have deformations at the tip of the nose and respiratory problems,
you are a good candidate for a rhinoplasty.
How is a rhinoplasty performed?
After numbing the area, Dr. Etoz makes an incision to access the bones and cartilages that support the nose. There are two techniques for incision: open and closed incision. By adding or removing bone and cartilage and adjusting the support structures within the nose, the size of the nose can be reduced or increased, and the nose can be shortened. Skin and other soft tissues are reshaped to take the shape of the underlying structure. In some patients, tissue fillers or fat grafts may also be added to increase volume.
